The Harvest Festival

Sunday 25th February saw 30 keen supporters of the MPF assemble with secateurs in hand to "bring in the harvest" for Coppin Grove Wines.

1.3 tonnes of beautiful fruit was picked, sorted and packed by 12 noon.  The newly credentialed agricultural labourers then relaxed and enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by the MPF catering team led by Marie Greene.

Thanks to all those who so generously supported this event including Peter Bouchier Butchers, Bakers Delight, Leo's Fine Food and Wine, Coppin Grove Wines and Turner and Lane Corporate Gifts. Thanks also to Richard Stewart for so ably auctioning the cricket bat autographed by Shane Warne.  Many, many thanks to Cindy Watson for her determined telephone bidding, in the face of spirited competition, to secure the bat for the Shane Warne fan in her life.

Finally thanks to our volunteers on the day who gave so willingly of their time and talents to the Foundation. Phil Cohn, Nikki Carroll, Amy Cohn (who jetted in for the event), Andrew Cole, Phil Brass, Fay Spurway, MPF committee members and their long suffering partners – we couldn't do without you.
